The ZRP Kuyedza Women’s Club was established in 1958 by the wives of the Police Officers residing in camps, through-out Zimbabwe. The Police Officers wives had found themselves secluded from the mainstream society and such could not benefit nor participate in development programmes.
Kuyedza Women’s Club programmes are designed to offer sustaining projects and women empowerment, emotional, educational and recreational support to its members. The club’s network has grown enormously over the years and it has provided numerous learning and skill development opportunities to its members.
Membership of Club shall be open to wives of regular members and the following associate members:
- Wives of Ancillary Members
- Wives of ex-members
Currently the membership stands at eight thousand [8 000].
